Tengboche is an important Buddhist monastery in the mountains of the Himalayan Kingdom of Nepal. It is in the Khumbu region of northeast Nepal, the home of the Sherpas. Tengboche is famous because of its spectacular and unique location.

This is a short Everest experience trek starting from Lukla, Nepal. From Lukla the trail heads up north through strong Tibetan Buddhist Sherpa villages. Namche at 3,440m has different Everest view points and scenic walks. Namche Bazaar was famous trading place between Nepal and Tibet. Still Tibetans come to Namche Bazaar with the yak caravan. Tengboche is a biggest monastery of the region perched on a ridge at 3,870m. Tengboche has got the great sunset view over Mt. Everest. It is an easy trek which is usually done by childrens and olders with their family.
