Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu 1350m/4600ft
Upon the arrival in Kathmandu, we Everest Six-Summit Adventures will be welcoming you at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) and accompany you to the hotel. There will be time to rest and take in this vibrant city’s energy, before having briefing about the trek and introduce with the trekking guide.
Day 02: Drive to Jhapre 2820m/9251ft (8-9 hours)
Today we will drive to Jhapre early in the morning after breakfast. Kathmandu to Jhapre is about 215 km. On the way of Sunkoshi/Gold River gorge (600m), we will stop for the lunch. After that continue drive to Jhapre Monastery.
Day 03: Trek to Damar (2700m), overnight at camp (Damar village is small Sherpa village.) (6-7 hours)
This day we visit Jhapre Monastery and we will view some mountains. We will be going to visit the private Monastery and Nalidhada School which is far from tourist attraction, the local people and the students of Nalidhada School would be excited to see Western people after that we will continue trek via Ragel Sherpa Village to Damar. Damar village is located in remote area and inside the Jungle. There are 8 Sherpa household. It will be very interested to know Sherpa culture and their lifestyle.
Day 04: Trek to Lhamuje 3500m/11482ft via Tolu Monastery 3372m/11062ft (4-5hours)
Today, on the way we will visit one of the oldest Monastery “Tolu Monastery”. Then we will continue trek to Lhamuje which is also known as “Yak Pasture” open lands cape with great view of Mountains in Northeast.
Day 05: Trek to Pikey Base Camp 3640m/11942ft (4-5hours)
Today we will be walking along the pine trees, where we will see Rhododendrons, juniper with open landscape. Here, you can see yaks grazing and get a chance to drink fresh and tasty yak milk. Overnight Base camp near Yak Dairy.
Day 06: Climb to PIKEY PEAK 4065m/13336ft early morning for sunrise view. Trek to Lamjura 3530m/11581ft.
This day we climb the peak. While climbing the peak we can enjoy the sunrise view and mountain peaks. We can see view of mountains from third highest Mt. Kanchenjunga to Mt. Makalu including Mt. Everest. After climbing the peak, we descend down to Lamjura Pass.
Day 07: Trek to Junbesi 2700m/8858ft
This day we will have easy walk to Junbesi Valley along the rhododendrons, pine trees, many other plants. After we reach there we will hike up to Thupten Choling monastery which remain authentically traditional, and hidden from the outside world and also one of the oldest monastery.
Day 08: Trek to Phaplu 4hrs.
After breakfast we will have easy trek from Junbesi to last point of trek Phaplu. Overnight at Phaplu.
Day 09: Fly to Kathmandu
We catch an early morning flight to Kathmandu after our long mountain journey. After reaching Kathmandu, we can take a rest or do some souvenir shopping. If we want to explore any other areas of Kathmandu, we may do that today. Our guides can help you with both souvenir shopping or sightseeing. There will be a farewell dinner in the evening to celebrate the successful completion of our journey.
Day 10: Final departure
Our trip in Nepal ends today. We Everest Six-Summit will pick you up from hotel and drop to International Airport few hours before the scheduled flight.
