Bhote Koshi River Rafting

Beginning its life in Tibet (Bhot) this river (koshi) roars its way into Nepal through some of the most breathtaking valleys and gorges you will ever see.
The Bhote Koshi path is the precipitous in Nepal creating a torrent. In this river the rafting will be interesting without having risk of anything. It is thrilling and at the same time most charming rafting trip not found anywhere else in the world. It is a very steep and very continuous mountain stream, a combination of fun and excitement and surrounded by mountains forests and waterfalls.
From the mountain Shisa Pangma (the 10th highest mountain in the world) the glacier waters roar down in to Nepal. It is a challenging and enthralling water trip which gives the rafter an experience of rafting in whitewater in this wonderful country, Nepal.

Day 01: Drive Lomosangu-Dam
We will drive to Lomosangu-Dam, 95 km east from Kathmandu. This is a spectacular drive through villages and if weather permits, you will have fantastic mountain views i.e. Ganesh Himal, Langtang etc., we raft the first 10 km of the very exciting stretch of the river and then return to the start to play again the same stretch the next day rather than continue with only half a day paddling to the end. Drives back to our camp.
Day 02: Rafting
After breakfast a quick pack up and set out (approx. 9 to 10 a.m.) run white water hit again a grade 3 rapid starting from upper section. You have the second chance to show how your raft team can work well together in challenging rapids. We have lunch on the river and continue the action until the take out point Dolalghat Bazaar about 2 to 3 p.m. and bus back to Kathmandu. Our trip is over here.
